Cathedral in Amiens

I think this picture looks like some postcard or magazine ad that has pasted together the best elements of Amiens, but surprisingly, this is a completely unedited picture. The church (cathedral, whatever you want to call it) really is that big.



















The Notre Dame in Paris looks like a miniature scale version of this bad boy.



































This building truly makes you feel small and insignificant in the "presence of the lord."




























Supposedly, they have the head of John the Baptist in this church (this is if I understood everything correctly). The picture above depicts his beheading.
