Reliving the "Glory Days"

Just some old pictures that I took when I was taking "Intro to Photography" several years ago. I just came across a contact sheet that I had scanned and decided to crop the winning pictures. Just a couple...


These were taken for my final project. I had to choose ten pictures with a common theme. With encouragement from one of my roommates, I decided to do self-portraits. They're not as easy as you might think...


Not to mention, I felt incredibly arrogant whenever somebody from my class asked what my theme was and I answered "me"... actually, I said "I couldn't think of anything better than myself to take pictures of..." I thought it was a pretty funny joke but, instead, I often got a blank stare and then they quickly looked away and started doing something else. Yes, this is my wonderful ability to connect with people in action! Not much has improved since then either.

I remember these shots, i thought you might change your direction and go into the arts. it's your inner INFP coming out.
thanks for finding my other blog too...now you can read about oh so exciting design stuff for my Media Architecture class.
anyway, i get a break the second or third week of june, so I can actually be socialble then. Ok, maybe not sociable, but pretend i'm an extrovert for a little while...ok, maybe not extrovert, but i will have slept and not look like a deathly zombie. hooorah. see you soon.
