London

I was only here for a couple days. Danielle was with me when I made the flight over the big pond. Holding my hand--making sure I arrived safely. :-P

So we arrive in London, having slept very little on the plane--we dropped off our bags and started site-seeing anyway. The nice thing about Danielle--she doesn't waste time! There are sites to be seen and she won't wait around on anybody to go see them. A good motivator, which is what I need during the majority of my day. Anyhow, the first thing we did was see the "Changing of the Guards." A rather odd experience. They played a flute...it reminded me of "Yankee Doodle-Dandy"...not nearly as peppy though.

Here's Danielle with one of the Bobbies.

A closer look at some of the detail on Big Ben:

We wanted to go see Parliament while it was in session...I don't remember why we didn't...must have been closed already...

When I saw this sign, I was worried that my fears of getting gang-raped in some train terminal might be realized.

The phonebooths are soo freakin' cool that we just had to take pictures in them.
